Replacement of all original windows with energy efficient casement and picture windows which enhance the appearance of the home and provide comfort and are easy to operate.
The homeowners were looking to lighten the appearance of their home changing from a dark brown to white and gain energy efficiency. All of the windows on the home and patio doors were replaced, converting many from Casement (side hinged) to Double Hung (vertical opening). The view from the kitchen to the back yard was opened up with an Awning window above the sink (top hinged). Also replaced was the front entry door and storm door providing a beautifully inviting entrance. Removing the original brown Soffit, Fascia, Gutters and Downspouts and replacing them with white really brightened the appearance of the home. The finishing touch were some black shutters to pull contrast from the brick tones to the other white trim.

All of the siding was replaced using Alside Charter Oak Double 4 ½” Clapboard vinyl siding (Glacier White). The house has excellent curb appeal and character.
Replacement of all the windows on the home, including a variety of sliders, geometric shaped windows and a build-up on the side of the home. The build-up allowed the owner to reduce the overall size of the window from the bottom, giving them the look they desired while keeping with the period style of the home.
All of the windows were replaced on this home. The original windows were wood and with age became difficult to operate and were deteriorating. The new vinyl windows offered golden oak interior/white exterior with two-tone grids between the dual pane glass (easy cleaning) and much improved energy efficiency.
